Local Transportation Information

The closest airport to Redwood City is San Francisco International Airport (SFO). San Jose International Airport (SJC) is also close to Redwood City and may offer less expensive flights. The third Bay Area airport, Oakland International Airport (OAK) is not recommended unless you are already familiar with the Bay Area.

There are several ways you can get to the conference hotels from either airport:

• An alternative to renting a car is to use public transportation. Shuttles are available from either airport to Caltrain, where the San Carlos station is within a few blocks of both conference hotels. Check that the shuttles and trains will be running when your flight arrives and departs. Weekend service in particular is limited.
